Hi, thanks for checking out my profile. I live a full and happy life in the heart of Bristol. I stopped working for the NHS in 2023. I see a lot of my friends and family - some nearby, others further afield. I keep fit (that includes lots of walking, urban and rural), and I enjoy going to the theatre, cinema, galleries and concerts. I do some volunteering with a gardening group, and have enjoyed a few creative writing courses in the last year. I've also been travelling in the last 18 months: Boston, Central Asia, Madrid, the Camino to Santiago de Compostela, Oporto, Paris, Rome... Next up: Edinburgh, France and Copenhagen. I have been learning all my life! My highest qualification is a Masters (Social Planning). I regularly go on courses, online or in person.

Ideal Holiday:

The UK has many wonderful places to visit, cities, coast and countryside. I love visiting cities anywhere in the world, and enjoy hiking holidays as well. There are so many places I haven't been! High on my list at the moment are Japan and Iceland.
